How much to charge a babysitter to travel with family?

I babysit for a family when the parents go out of town for business. Now they are wanting to take me with them to help out with the kids (7, 5, 3, infant) I normally charge $10 an hr and $30 at night. I will only be helping out with the kids and only have them by myself for maybe 4 hrs 1 night. We are going to disney world and hawaii and williamsburg on 3 different trips. They are paying for everything. I have a friend who got me and the kids free plane tickets. They also got me and the 2 oldest kids a room to ourselves in hawaii.

It does sound like a good deal. But it sounds to me that if you're sharing a room with the two oldest that means you'll be babysitting the 7 & 5 year olds the whole time they're in their room. You may want to ask the parents exactly what your responsibilities are so there are no surprises.

I've been a babysitter fro years, and I've traveled with them too. Since you are getting to travel, you should go for it, lol but just remember that you wont be having too much fun or alone time. You'll spend hours with them infant and caring for the other kids while the parents go on the actual vacation. I think you should set a number and not charge the hours. Example, $250 per night. Thats all, more or less, depending on how many kids you will actually have to babysit all the time. its a win win. You get free trips, and about $250. Remember to have fun and not forget you're there working, not on vacation. :)

P.S could you answer my question?
